Acceptable Use Policy
Electronic Information
(Internet Access for Newfane Elementary School Students)
This aggreement must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned
to Newfane Elementary School before access to the Internet
is provided. It is sufficient to sign one agreement per family;
please include each student's name. We ask parents to decide
whether student signature is appropriate. Please note that
more detailed information about Internet Acess is provided
in the school's Electronic Information Acceptable Use Guidelines.

I understand and will abide by the provisions and conditions
of the Newfane Elementary School's Acceptable Use Guidelines
for the Intra/Internet. I further understand that any violations
of the above provisions may result in disciplinary action,
the revoking of my user account, and appropriate legal action.
I agree to report any misuse of the information system to
the principal.
Misuse can come in many forms, but can be viewed as any messages
sent or received that indicate or suggest pornography, unethical
or illicit solicitation, racism, sexism, inappropriate language
and other issues described in the policy.

Parent/Guardian: As the parent/guardian of
the student above, I have read Newfane Elementary School's
Acceptable Use Guidelines for the Intra/Internet and understand
that the use of the electronic information system in the school
are for educational purposes. I understand that it is impossible
for Newfane Elementary School to restrict access to all controversial
materials, and will not hold the school district responsible
for materials acquired on the electronic information system.
I also agree to report any misuse of the information to the
principal.
