Just a reminder that the Mad Science Jr. Explorers Class begins this Friday afternoon after school. 

Due to the huge response to this class, the PTO Enrichment program, with agreement from Mad Science, have agreed to a second class so all 36 students who signed up would be able to attend.

We have decided to have all children from K-2 (15 kids) attend one class which will be held in the kindergarten class room.  The remainder of kids (18 3/4 and 3 5/6) will attend class in the Art room.  Both classes will take place simultaneously beginning at 3:15 and ending at 4:15.  Please make sure you arrive promptly at 4:15 to pick up your child.

The Mad Science class usually costs $75 per student.  The Enrichment Program chose to pay a significant amount so that the course would be affordable to all students at just $25 per student.  Due to the additional class, the Enrichment Program has had to pay considerably more than they had planned, so that all of the kids could attend who wanted to attend.  If you would like to help offset the cost to the PTO’s Enrichment Program, a donation would be very much appreciated.  Checks should be made out to Newfane School Club, and dropped off with Melanie in the office.  Please add Mad Science to the memo section.  Remember, your child’s spot in the class is already secured; this donation is completely optional.
